Position Overview:

The Senior Tax Accountant will manage federal, state, and foreign tax compliance, prepare detailed tax filings, and assist with audits and property tax issues, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state income and franchise tax returns, as well as quarterly estimates and extensions.
• Handle foreign tax returns and payments, ensuring timely compliance.
• Respond to tax-related notices and bills, conducting thorough research to resolve issues.
• Maintain and manage tax depreciation schedules for various entities.
• Assist in audits by compiling, analyzing, and presenting documentation.
• Manage the tax compliance calendar to ensure timely governmental filings.
• Support property tax and business license compliance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of income tax experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with tax preparation software (OneSource preferred).
• Familiarity with Sage FAS or other depreciation programs.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
